Civil Partnerships

Despite Civil Partnerships starting in 2005, the number of readily available portals for information is still relatively small.

Kent County Council has an excellent annual publication called 'A Kentish Partnership' which goes into great detail for just about anything that you may need to know. These publications are free at may Kent Wedding Fayres, or a copy can be ordered direct from their website.

For myself, a Civil Partnership is no different than a Wedding - well OK, maybe slightly different! But that's really where it ends. So, the rest of this page, is virtually the same as my Wedding Page!

Your Wedding

From the point of booking to the end of your last dance, i strive to ensure that everything within my power will run smoothly. Whether this means i am providing the Background Music for your Guests as they arrive, helping to direct a Guest that has got lost, or simply helping to clear the room ready to turn it around ready for your Wedding Reception. Of course these are just a couple of things that i can do during the day...... but as you well know, there is a lot of preparation that goes into it well before that!

If i haven't performed at your particular chosen wedding venue before, i will always arrange a Venue Visit prior to the day to meet up with the Functions Manager (or whoever is co-ordinating your Wedding) and discuss how things 'usually' work, where i need to be, when etc etc.

This allows me to turn up prepared and ready for action rather than trying to establish these facts whilst everyone behind the scenes is busy getting other things prepared for you.

Quiet often this venue visit is combined with the Client Meeting where we meet up, discuss how you would like things to happen, what kind of 'feel' you have planned, how you want myself and my Disco to look, what songs you like etc etc. And of course it provides the opportunity for us to actually meet, which of course helps with my whole ethos of being part of your 'team' all working together to turn your dream into reality.

There are many more different aspects of your Wedding Day where i would be delighted to be able to help. Many of these will be discussed at our Client Meeting. However, if you have a specific request or a specific service in mind that is not already covered within this website, please do not hesitate to ask, as although i may not provide the service myself - you can rest assured that i probably know someone who does!

Why should i pay '£x' for a Professional DJ when i can find my areas 'best DJ' in the local paper for only £150.......

There's nothing like a good wedding. And there's nothing like a good wedding ruined by a cheap DJ who is just after some extra beer money!

Weddings are my bread and butter business, and yet it still amazes me that couples often plump for the cheapest DJ they can find.

Couples often spend £800 on a outfits, £500 on a Wedding Cake and £300 on table decorations and favours......... you get the idea. But they find it difficult to justify spending money on a decent DJ who will be helping to create memories of your wedding day that will be with you and your guests for the rest of your lives.

Please don't make that mistake.
